This is a Spider man themed cake. I bordered a two tier, layered cake with marshmallow fondant buildings. The top tier was chocolate fudge cake with a chocolate mousse filling and the bottom cake was a marble layer with chocolate mousse. The cake was frosted with butter cream. Everything on this cake is edible except the spider man candle on top.
In the picture below I am piping the windows and doors of the 12 buildings that surrounded this cake. The buildings are made of marshmallow fondant and the bricks were scoured into the fondant for texture. These were real tasty, the kids loved them.
