1st birthday cake
This is a two tiered chocolate fudge cake layered with white chocolate mousse and frosted with buttercream frosting. The decorations (#1, butterfly, flower, bumblebee, bows, and ladybugs) are made of homemade marshmallow fondant. The client also wanted a 6 inch cake made just for her daughter to match the large cake. The 6 inch cake is a yellow cake layered with strawberry cream and frosted with buttercream frosting and fondant decoration. The number one decoration pictured at bottom was added to the cake after transport.

I just have to share that this cake was made for my daughter...it was PERFECT! These pictures do not do it justice! We attended a party the day after ours, with many of the same guests, and this cake was the topic of convrsation all day! In fact, guests were asking if there were lefovers! Awesme job Michelle! We are looking for another reason to have a party just to order another cake!
